Level 2 Gown

The CPE gown is an effective barrier for liquids, dry particles, dust, grime, and aerosols while treating patients. High-quality, heavyweight polyethylene material is highly resistant to fluids. Thumb loop cuffs provide a secure, slip free fit that eliminates “sleeve-slide" while wearing nitrile gloves. The over the head design allows for quick and simple removal.

Made with high-quality polyethylene coated polypropylene or SMS to create a fluid resistant fabric. Knitted cuffs offer comfort while neck and waist ties offer a secure fit. Closed back design delivers protection from all angles. Isolation gowns are designed to be used where high fluid exposure is not a concern.

The material used in these gowns has been tested against the following 12 chemotherapy drugs per ASTM F739-12 and no breakthrough was observed during a test duration of 480 minutes based on average standardized breakthrough time: Carmustine (BCNU), Cisplatin, Cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), Dacarbazine, Doxorubicin HCl, Etoposide, Fluorouracil, Methotrexate, Mitomycin C, Paclitaxel, ThioTepa, Vincristine Sulfate.
